Sauteed Sole with Lemon

I was a bit apprehensive when I saw this week’s challenge chosen by Lyndsey.  See, I prefer baking rather than cooking and I had never cooked fish before.  I was scared.

Seems though, that it isn’t that hard to cook fish.  Just juggling saucepans with green beans and potatoes causes me to panic/swear/and generally want to shout out “we’re having take-away tonight!”.  But I perservered, and although the plate of food shown below is a bit broken I can confirm that the other two pieces remained intact. 

And at the end of the day we all enjoyed it very much.  And I look forward to cooking other fish (and this recipe) again really soon.

  1. You crack me up Pru! I had a little piece break off, but I shoved it back for the photo! 😀 I thought this was a simple way to make fish. I’m glad you stuck it out and enjoyed it!. Piece of cake! Happy Valentine’s Day!

  2. You did it! You cooked fish! Mine came apart too, but I covered it with a piece of lettuce so I could photograph it. I’m glad you liked the recipe, I did too.
