Green Beans with Orange and Hazelnuts

There really is no need for a recipe. I saw this recipe in the Ottolenghi cookbook and the combination of orange, garlic, beans and hazelnuts (toasted) is a winner. I blanched the beans for about three minutes before putting in iced water. In a bowl orange zest, a little of the juice and a clove of garlic were mixed together before being tossed with the beans and the chopped toasted hazelnuts.

 

It’s a winner.  Let me know if you have tried it or you have any recipes for green beans.

  1. Yum! I like this comination. I aways just seem to add slivered almonds. I have seen one I want to try with egg, I’ll see if I can find the link to the recipe for you.
