I’ve found your recipe for “Winter Plum Cake”, it seems ideal for what i was looking for recipe wise. BUT, i have a question. I have in my freezer a surplus of stewed plums from last autums harvest from our orchard, will they be similar to your tinned plums or are you talking prunes? I’m looking for a plum/cakey recipe as we are slaughtering one of our pigs next week and have a couple of friends coming over to help prep the meat and charcuterie……..cake is on the menu!!!! (alongside pork)
